We receive our birds as day old chicks within a short drive from our facility.

We immediately place the chicks in our newly constructed brooding houses. Our brooding houses are designed to be a stress free, sterilized environment.

The chicks stay in the brooding houses for the first 6 weeks. On nice days they will spend outside time in screened in areas connected to the brooding houses.

At 5 weeks they receive medication and have blinders placed on them to prevent feather picking.

After the 6th week the birds are released into our flight conditioning pins through wide runways.

Our flight pens are 100 feet wide, 300 feet long and are equipped with high ceilings that peak at 17 feet. This allows the birds to develop wing strength for fast flying speeds.
